Addendum: Correspondence and Presentation
A report regarding a rezoning application for the property located at 530 Chatham St and 1824, 1900, 1907, 1908, 1924 and 2010 Store Street in order to rezone two city blocks within the Downtown and Burnside Gorge neighbourhoods from the currently zoned M-3 (Heavy Industrial District), M3-G (Government Heavy Industrial) and CA-3C (Old Town District) zones to a new comprehensive development zone to increase the density and height, and to allow residential and a variety of other uses, and recommending that the application be sent back to staff to work with the applicant on plan changes to better align the proposal with the City’s policies and the future aspirations for this very important area of the city.
