The Council of the City of Victoria will consider issuing a Temporary Use Permit with Variances for the land known as 514 Government Street, in Development Permit Area DPA 12 (HC), to add “club” as a permitted use.

 

The Temporary use Permit will vary the following requirements of the Zoning Regulation Bylaw:

         Schedule C, Section 2: Relaxation of the number of required parking stalls from 10 to 1.

Temporary Use Permit with Variances Approval: To approve the temporary use permit with variances, the following motion is in order:

  2. Development meeting all Zoning Regulation Bylaw requirements, except for the following variances:

The purpose of this bylaw is to adopt and enact Zoning Bylaw 2017 including new zones, land use regulations and off-street parking requirements for those properties identified in the map. New zones include the Central Business District-1 Zone (CBD-1), Central Business District-2 Zone (CBD-2), Mixed Use Residential District-1 Zone (MRD-1) and the Old Town District-1 Zone (OTD-1).
