In accordance with the Class Order on COVID-19 from the Office of the Provincial Health Officer, Council has limited the number of delegations permitted to Address Council to six, until further notice.

A report recommending:

    • Zoning Regulation Bylaw, Amendment Bylaw (No. 1226) No. 20-056

 

The purpose of this bylaw is to amend the Zoning Regulation Bylaw to correct a clerical error by renumbering section 46 to 47.

A report recommending: 

  • 1st, 2nd, and 3rd readings of: 
    • Temporary Borrowing Bylaw, 2020, No. 20-058

 

The purpose of the bylaw is to provide for the borrowing of money that may be necessary to
meet the current lawful expenditures of the City
.

Addenda: Revised Report and Bylaw

In accordance with the Class Order on COVID-19 from the Office of the Provincial Health Officer, Council has suspended the Question Period section for in person participation until further notice.

MOTION TO CLOSE THE APRIL 9 COUNCIL MEETING TO THE PUBLIC

That Council convene a closed meeting that excludes the public under Section 90 of the Community Charter for the reason that the following agenda items deal with matters specified in Sections 90(1) and/or (2) of the Community Charter, namely:

Section 90(1) A part of a council meeting may be closed to the public if the subject matter being considered relates to or is one or more of the following:

Section 90(1)(c) labour relations or other employee relations;

Section 90(1)(e)the acquisition, disposition or expropriation of land or improvements, if the council considers that disclosure could reasonably be expected to harm the interests of the municipality;
