A report recommending: 

  • 1st, 2nd and 3rd readings of:
    • Parks and Recreation Fees Bylaw, Amendment Bylaw (No. 14) No. 24-017

The purpose of this Bylaw is to amend the Parks and Recreation Fees Bylaw to revise the fees for use of parks and recreation facilities.

A report recommending:

  • 1st, 2nd and 3rd readings of: 
    • Housing Agreement (722 and 726 Discovery Street) Bylaw (2024) No. 24-016

The purpose of this Bylaw is to authorize an agreement for affordable housing for the lands known as 722 and 726 Discovery Street, Victoria, BC.

    • Zoning Regulation Bylaw, Amendment Bylaw (No. 1304) No. 23-056
  • Approval of: 
    • Development Permit with Variances Application No. 00198

The purpose of this Bylaw is to increase the density in order to construct a five-storey, 39-unit long-term supportive housing building, to add an accessory building as a permitted use on the properties known as 1046 and 1048 North Park Street.

MOTION TO CLOSE THE FEBRUARY 15, 2024 COUNCIL MEETING TO THE PUBLIC

That Council convene a closed meeting that excludes the public under Section 90 of the Community Charter for the reason that the following agenda items deal with matters specified in Sections 90(1) and/or (2) of the Community Charter, namely:

Section 90(2) A part of a council meeting must be closed to the public if the subject matter being considered relates to one or more of the following:

Section 90(2)(b) the consideration of information received and held in confidence relating to negotiations between the municipality and a provincial government or the federal government or both, or between a provincial government or the federal government or both and a third party.
