Amendment Bylaw for Parks and Recreation Fees Bylaw

The purpose of this Bylaw is to amend the Parks and Recreation Fees Bylaw to revise the fees for use of parks and recreation facilities.

Bylaw for 722 and 726 Discovery Street: Rezoning Application No. 00820 and Development Permit with Variances No. 00208

A report recommending:

The purpose of this Bylaw is to authorize an agreement for affordable housing for the lands known as 722 and 726 Discovery Street, Victoria, BC.

The purpose of this Bylaw is to increase the density in order to construct a five-storey, 39-unit long-term supportive housing building, to add an accessory building as a permitted use on the properties known as 1046 and 1048 North Park Street.

133 and 129/135 Gorge Road East: Update on Rezoning Application No. 00843 and Development Permit with Variances Application No. 00257

A report regarding an update to the Rezoning and Development Permit with Variances applications for the property located at 133 and 129/135 Gorge Road East, to; include a setback variance for the existing buildings on Phase Two (129/135 Gorge Road East) that is required when the new zone comes into effect, remove a variance as a result of updated building information, and recommending it proceed to bylaw readings.

MOTION TO CLOSE THE FEBRUARY 15, 2024 COUNCIL MEETING TO THE PUBLIC

That Council convene a closed meeting that excludes the public under Section 90 of the Community Charter for the reason that the following agenda items deal with matters specified in Sections 90(1) and/or (2) of the Community Charter, namely:

Section 90(2) A part of a council meeting must be closed to the public if the subject matter being considered relates to one or more of the following:

Section 90(2)(b) the consideration of information received and held in confidence relating to negotiations between the municipality and a provincial government or the federal government or both, or between a provincial government or the federal government or both and a third party.
