A report recommending:

    • City Parkades Electric Vehicle Charging Fees Bylaw 22-054, Amendment Bylaw (No. 1)

 


The purpose of this Bylaw is to amend the City Parkades Electric Vehicle Charging Fees Bylaw to allow for direct current fast charging stations and monthly permit holders in City parkades and surface lots.

A report recommending:

  • 1st and 2nd readings of:
    • Heritage Designation (145 Rendall Street) Bylaw No. 22-049

 


This application is ready to proceed to public hearing and proposes to designate the exterior of the heritage-registered property located at 145 Rendall Street.

  • Adoption of:
    • Election Procedures Bylaw No. 22-051

 


The purpose of this Bylaw is to regulate the conduct of City elections and other voting, including the use of automated voting machines and mail ballots.

A report recommending:

    • Zoning Regulation Bylaw 22-024, Amendment Bylaw (No. 1260)
    • Zoning Bylaw 2018 22-025, Amendment Bylaw (No. 10)

 


The bylaws are ready to proceed to public hearing and propose new and increased supply rates and design requirements for off-street accessible parking stalls for private development.

    • Development Cost Charges Bylaw No. 22-060, Amendment Bylaw (No. 4)

The purpose of this Bylaw is to amend the Development Cost Charges Bylaw

MOTION TO CLOSE THE MAY 19, 2022 COUNCIL MEETING TO THE PUBLIC


That Council convene a closed meeting that excludes the public under Section 90 of the Community Charter for the reason that the following agenda items deal with matters specified in Sections 90(1) and/or (2) of the Community Charter, namely:


Section 90(1) A part of a council meeting may be closed to the public if the subject matter being considered relates to or is one or more of the following:


Section 90(1)(e) the acquisition, disposition or expropriation of land or improvements, if the council considers that disclosure could reasonably be expected to harm the interests of the municipality;
Section 90(1)(i) the receipt of advice that is subject to solicitor-client privilege, including communications necessary for that purpose.
