Neighbourhood Plan Update ~ March 2018
On Thursday, March 8, 2018, City Council provided an opportunity for the public to comment on the proposed Gonzales Neighbourhood Plan. As a result of the feedback, Council gave direction to staff to make changes to the plan and further consult with the neighbourhood. View the Council motions here. Apr - Dec 2016: Phases 1, 2 & 3 - In conjunction with Fairfield
May - Jun 2017: Draft Plan Engagement
October 2017 – Engagement on Revisions and OCP Amendments
December 2017 - Report to Council on Proposed Plan (November 2017 - see link above) and OCP Amendment Bylaw
A Heritage Conservation Area is no longer being explored for Gonzales as part of the neighbourhood planning process. This could be explored in the future if there is community leadership and interest. Read more here.
