The application is ready to proceed to Public Hearing and proposes to allow for two additional units in an existing duplex, for a total of four residential units.

This application is to permit subdivision to allow the construction of a new small lot house, retaining the existing house and converting an accessory building to a garden suite.

The purpose of this Bylaw is to authorize an agreement to ensure that the proposed 97-unit, multi-unit residential building, also known as ‘Michigan Square’ provides specified levels of affordability on the lands known as 330-336 Michigan Street, Victoria, BC.

The purpose of this Bylaw is to amend the Street and Traffic Bylaw to broaden the authority of the Director of Engineering to enable the Director to regulate and restrict traffic on streets or portions of streets.

MOTION TO CLOSE THE DECEMBER 9, 2021 COUNCIL MEETING TO THE PUBLIC


That Council convene a closed meeting that excludes the public under Section 90 of the Community Charter for the reason that the following agenda items deal with matters specified in Sections 90(1) and/or (2) of the Community Charter, namely:


Section 90(1) A part of a council meeting may be closed to the public if the subject matter being considered relates to or is one or more of the following:

  • Section 90(1)(a) personal information about an identifiable individual who holds or is being considered for a position as an officer, employee or agent of the municipality or another position appointed by the municipality;
  • Section 90(1)(i) the receipt of advice that is subject to solicitor-client privilege, including communications necessary for that purpose.
