A report recommending:

  • Adoption of:
    • Animal Responsibility Bylaw, Amendment Bylaw (No. 4) No. 22-073

 

The purpose of this Bylaw is to amend the Animal Responsibility Bylaw to:

  1. Update the boundaries of leash-optional areas to match existing leash-optional areas at Beacon Hill Park, Clover Point Park, Vic West Park, Topaz Park, Alexander Park, Fisherman’s Wharf Park, Oaklands Park, and Barnard Park, and designate an on-leash east-west pathway at Clover Point connecting the on-leash waterfront path to the on-leash path at Ross Bay; and
  2. Improve the legibility of the leash-optional area and dogs prohibited maps contained within the Animal Responsibility Bylaw.

Addendum: Correspondence


Council is considering an application to renew the TUP for an additional three years and continue operating the building as a multiple dwelling consisting of approximately 22 affordable and supportive rental dwelling units.

MOTION TO CLOSE THE JULY 28, 2022 COUNCIL MEETING TO THE PUBLIC


That Council convene a closed meeting that excludes the public under Section 90 of the Community Charter for the reason that the following agenda items deal with matters specified in Sections 90(1) and/or (2) of the Community Charter, namely:


Section 90(1) A part of a council meeting may be closed to the public if the subject matter being considered relates to or is one or more of the following:

  • Section 90(1)(e) the acquisition, disposition or expropriation of land or improvements, if the council considers that disclosure could reasonably be expected to harm the interests of the municipality;
