    • City Parkades Electric Vehicle Charging Fees Bylaw, Amendment Bylaw (No. 1), No. 22-054

 


The purpose of this Bylaw is to amend the City Parkades Electric Vehicle Charging Fees Bylaw to allow for direct current fast charging stations and monthly permit holders in City parkades and surface lots.

A report recommending:

    • Zoning Regulation Bylaw, Amendment Bylaw (No. 1273) No. 22-031
    • Heritage Designation (1125 Fort Street) Bylaw No. 22-029
  • 1st, 2nd and 3rd readings of:
    • Housing Agreement (1125 Fort Street) Bylaw (2022) No. 22-030

 


This application is ready to proceed to public hearing and proposes to convert the existing building into multiple dwelling units and add dwelling units in a new addition at the rear, fronting Meares Street.

A report recommending:

  • 1st, 2nd and 3rd readings of:
    • Five Year Financial Plan Bylaw, 2022, Amendment Bylaw (No. 1) No. 22-061
  • Direct staff to schedule an opportunity for public input prior to adoption of the bylaw

 


The purpose of this bylaw is to amend Schedule 3 and Schedule 4 of the Five Year Financial Plan Bylaw, 2022 by the following:

  • Increase the Topaz Artificial Turf Sport Field Project budget by $2.4 million with funding from the $2.4 million grant received from the Investing Canada Infrastructure Program

Addendum: New Item

  • Adoption of:
    • Development Cost Charges Bylaw, Amendment Bylaw (No. 4), No. 22-060

 


The purpose of this Bylaw is to amend the Development Cost Charges Bylaw No. 17-020.

MOTION TO CLOSE THE MAY 26, 2022 COUNCIL MEETING TO THE PUBLIC

That Council convene a closed meeting that excludes the public under Section 90 of the Community Charter for the reason that the following agenda items deal with matters specified in Sections 90(1) and/or (2) of the Community Charter, namely:

Section 90(1) A part of a council meeting may be closed to the public if the subject matter being considered relates to or is one or more of the following:

Section 90(1)(e) the acquisition, disposition or expropriation of land or improvements, if the council considers that disclosure could reasonably be expected to harm the interests of the municipality;

Section 90(1)(c) labour relations or other employee relations.
