The purpose of the bylaw is to amend the Building and Plumbing Regulation Bylaw to provide for implementation of the British Columbia Energy Step Code, to clarify the authority of the building officials, and to update the fee schedule.

The purpose of this bylaw is to provide tax exemption for lands or improvements which qualify for a permissive exemption under section 224 of the Community Charter.

 The purpose of this bylaw is to establish Officer Positions for the City of Victoria.

The purpose of the bylaw is to assist in the preservation and rehabilitation of the heritage building located at 727-729 Johnson Street, including the seismic upgrading and residential use of the heritage building, by exempting it from municipal property taxes for 10 years.

The purpose of the bylaw is to assist in the preservation and rehabilitation of the heritage building located at 888 Government Street and 811-813 Wharf Street, including the seismic upgrading and residential use of the heritage building, by exempting it from municipal property taxes for 10 years.

A letter dated September 20, 2018, inviting the City of Victoria to become a part of a historical totem pole raising event in November 2018.
