Continuation of the Public Hearing adjourned on July 28, 2022 to August 4, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. for the purposes of viewing pre-recorded video submissions received prior to July 28, 2022.


Council is considering an application to construct a three-and-a-half storey mixed-use building with two commercial units and approximately 31 residential rental units.

The application is ready to proceed to Public Hearing and proposes to allow for commercial uses within the existing commercial building.

The purpose of this Bylaw is to amend the Streets and Traffic Bylaw No. 09-079 to impose a fee to cover the City’s costs in replacing or restoring survey monuments damaged by persons during the course of construction or any other activity, where such monuments are located within City streets, sidewalks, boulevards, or public places.

MOTION TO CLOSE THE AUGUST 4, 2022 COUNCIL MEETING TO THE PUBLIC


That Council convene a closed meeting that excludes the public under Section 90 of the Community Charter for the reason that the following agenda items deal with matters specified in Sections 90(1) and/or (2) of the Community Charter, namely:


Section 90(1) A part of a council meeting may be closed to the public if the subject matter being considered relates to or is one or more of the following:


Section 90(1)(a) personal information about an identifiable individual who holds or is being considered for a position as an officer, employee or agent of the municipality or another position appointed by the municipality;


Section 90(1)(e) the acquisition, disposition or expropriation of land or improvements, if the council considers that disclosure could reasonably be expected to harm the interests of the municipality;
