A report regarding a Development Permit with Variances application for the property located at 1050 Yates Street in order to to create a mixed-use project consisting of two purpose-built rental buildings of 15 and 25 storeys over a common commercial ground floor and podium and recommending approval.

A report  regarding two concurrent proposals: a rezoning application for 1733, 1735 and 1737 Fairfield Road to rezone from the R1-G Zone, Gonzales Single Family Dwelling District to a new site-specific zone to permit a multiple dwelling, and a rezoning application for 1964 Fairfield Road and 507 Foul Bay Road to to rezone from the RK-11 Zone and the R1-G Zone to a new site-specific zone to limit permitted uses and reduce the density to the existing density and uses, which include a garden, restaurant, and gift shop and recommending it proceed to Public Hearing.

A report seeking Council approval to accept two Artworks into the Public Art Collection, and to seek Council authorization for the City to enter into Donation Agreements and Copyright License and Moral Rights Waiver Agreements with the Donors and the Artist’s estate for the two Artworks.  

A report outlining administrative problems regarding the management of property unlawfully occupying public spaces and recommending Council bring forward bylaws to the December 7, 2023 daytime Council meeting for consideration. 

A Council Member Motion calling on the  Federal Government to double  affordable housing, co-operative housing, supportive housing, seniors housing and student residences, and double the relative share of non-market community housing.

A Council Member Motion requesting Council authorize costs for Councillor Gardiner to attend the Canadian Capital Cities Organization Winter Meeting in Ottawa, January 31 – February 2, 2024.

A Council Member Motion requesting a fee change to short term rental bylaws.
