A report regarding a Victoria Housing Reserve Fund (VHRF) application from Pacifica Housing Advisory Association, seeking $500,000 to support the redevelopment of a 5,637m2 parcel that would add 88 new non-market affordable rental units, a new public courtyard as well as community-oriented uses on the ground floor including a new childcare space in the Burnside neighbourhood.

Addendum: Presentation and Additional Correspondence


A report regarding an application to rezone the properties located at 710 Caledonia Avenue and 1961 Douglas Street from the C-1 Zone, Limited Commercial District, and T-1 Zone, Limited Transient Accommodation District, to a new zone in order to increase the density and allow for a mixed-use development consisting of three residential towers ranging in heights from 16 to 21 storeys above a commercial podium.

A report regarding an application for the properties located at 722 and 726 Discovery Street, to rezone from the M-1 Zone, Limited Light Industrial District, to a new residential rental tenure zone in order to increase the density and permit an eight-storey, multi-unit residential building consisting of approximately 90 supportive housing dwelling units.

A report regarding an evaluation of the 2022 Canada Day program, seeking Council consideration to approve an additional ongoing $75,000 to supplement the Festival Investment Grant (FIG) program, create a Canada Day focused FIG stream and continue to provide annual fireworks as part of the Canada Day Celebrations.

A report regarding the appointment of Michael Pickett, Brandon Whitters and Nelson Duarte as Bylaw Officers.
