The bylaw is ready to proceed to Public Hearing and proposes to amend the Zoning Regulation Bylaw by adding a new definition in Schedule A - Definitions and amending the General Regulations by adding a new regulation that applies principal building setback regulations to retaining walls, outdoor features, accessory buildings, and garden suites on all waterfront properties occupied by residential uses.

The bylaw is ready to proceed to Public Hearing and proposes to increase the density in order to facilitate a mixed-use development, consisting of an approximately thirteen-storey and six-storey building and retain the existing Victoria Professional Office building.

Following the Public Hearing held on January 9, 2020, the required Statutory Right-of-Way has now been registered at Land Titles, so adoption of the bylaw can occur. The application proposes to allow the construction of a new duplex.

The bylaw proposes to amend Schedules A, B, C, E, and G to increase fees as outlined in Appendix A to the bylaw.

A letter dated January 29, 2020, advising the CRD of the motion made by View Royal's Council at their January 28, 2020 meeting regarding the Regional Parks Land Acquisition Fund and the proposed changes.
